Women's basketball incoming freshman, Kyra Davis, leads West in 2017 East-West All-Star Game

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Incoming women's basketball freshman, Kyra Davis, represented R.S. Central in the 2017 N.C. Coaches Association East-West All-Star girls basketball game, Monday, July 17, inside the Greensboro Coliseum.

Davis paced the way for the West with a team-high 16 points and five rebounds, falling just short to the East, 74-71.

The 6-foot forward finished her senior campaign at R.S. Central, averaging 14.9 points-per-game, 8.4 rebounds-per-game, and 2.0 blocks-per-game. Davis totaled 1,643 points, 926 rebounds, and 220 blocks in 110 varsity games for the Hilltoppers.

She also was recognized as a member of the NC All-Star All-Academic Team, for her efforts in the classroom. Davis was named the valedictorian of her senior class at R.S. Central and also earned the top academic achievement award at Isothermal Community College during the 2016-17 academic year.

Davis is one of five to join the Camels for the 2017-18 campaign under second-year head coach Ronny Fisher.
