BUIES CREEK, N.C. --- Registration is now open for three Premier Girls Basketball Camps at Campbell University set for June on its main campus in Buies Creek, North Carolina.
"We are excited to announce our second-annual Premier Girls Basketball Camps," said Campbell women's basketball head coach Ronny Fisher. "Our three camps offer distinct opportunities for players to learn the fundamentals of the game and be pushed to reach new levels."
The Elite Camp scheduled for June 11 will kick things off and is open to rising 8th-12th grade girls. The camp offers an opportunity to experience intense training and competition designed for players looking to play at the next level.
The Premier Girls Basketball Team Camp is scheduled for June 19-21. The camp accepts varsity, junior varsity and middle school teams. Each team is guaranteed seven regulation games and no running clock.
Individual instructional sessions will be offered daily and a three point contest will be held for both the varsity and junior varsity divisions. Campers will also have the opportunity to observe individual college player workouts.
The Premier Girls Basketball Individual Camp is scheduled for June 26-28 and is open to all girls ages 7-17. All campers will receive individual skill instruction from college coaches and players and participate in skills competitions including full-court five-on-five games and shooting completions.
Resident and commuter options are available for both the team and individual camps. Overnight campers will stay in air conditioned dorms on Campbell's campus and each camper will have a roommate. Dorm supervision is provided 24 hours a day.
"All camps are held in our state-of-the-art facilities on campus at Campbell," said Fisher. "Our Campbell women's basketball coaching staff will work hard to create a memorable camp experience for each girl who attends!"
