EUGENE, Ore. --
Five-time All-American Amon Terer will compete in his final collegiate race at the 2017 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships as he represents Campbell in the men's 5,000m final. The championship race is scheduled for Friday, June 9 at 10:25 p.m. (ET) at the University of Oregon's historic Hayward Field.

The men's 5K will be nationally televised on ESPN, with championship coverage running from 8:30-11 p.m. Friday night. An online stream can also be viewed via WatchESPN at the 'Video' tab at the top of the page. Live results from the entire championship meet can be found at the 'Live stats' tab above.

Terer placed first overall at the NCAA East Preliminary Round with a time of 13:55.55, which earned him the No. 1 overall seed in the men's 5,000m final. Going into the national meet, the Eldoret, Kenya native sits fourth on FloTrack's Men's 5K Individual Rankings.

Arguably the most well-decorated athlete in Campbell history, Terer will go for his sixth All-America honor at the championship meet. He finished third overall in the 5K at the 2017 Indoor National Championships and will look to build on that performance in Eugene.

The end of the race will mark the end of Terer's collegiate career, as well as the end of Campbell's outdoor track season. For the most up-to-date information on Campbell track & field, follow @GoCamelsRun on Twitter.
