BUIES CREEK, N.C. – With an outstanding 3.62 team grade point average, Campbell has been named a Scholar All-America team by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
The Camels' team GPA was the highest among Coastal Collegiate Sports Association squads, ranking 15th overall in the country.
In total across all divisions, 720 men's and women's teams, representing 443 institutions achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the Spring 2017 Semester.
CU finished 8-5 overall and sixth in the CCSA Championship in 2016-17, breaking six school records throughout the season. A pair of Campbell relay units also earned All-CCSA honors, taking third place showings in the 200 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay.
