BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- The Fighting Camels travel to Winston-Salem, N.C. this week for the Big South Men's Tennis Championship, hosted by Wake Forest University. No. 3 seed Campbell will face No. 6 seed Radford on Wednesday, April 19 at noon for a Big South quarterfinal matchup at the Wake Forest Tennis Center.

Campbell has enjoyed its third-winningest season in program history this spring, finishing with an 18-4 overall record and a 5-2 mark in conference play. Most recently, it was announced that five student-athletes represented CU on the Big South's all-conference teams. Gerard Sola (First Team), Dustin Werner (First Team) and Fernando Clemente (Second Team) were all honored in singles, while Lorenz Schwab/Werner (First Team) and Jonathan O'Neal/Sola (Second Team) were honored in doubles. Campbell hosted Radford earlier this season as the Camels were able to defeat the Highlanders, 6-1, on Saturday, April 1 at the James R. Nisbet Tennis Center.

Radford (6-14, 3-4 BSC) closed the season winning three of their last five matches, including a 4-3 win over the conference's top-seeded Presbyterian Blue Hose. The Highlanders' only Big South all-conference honoree was Alexandros Caldwell, a member of the conference's all-academic team. Radford senior Janken Thoen was the only Highlander to finish the season with a winning record as he went 9-8 this spring in flights four through six.

Following the match, the winner will go on to face the victor between No. 2 Gardner-Webb and No. 7 UNC Asheville in a Big South semifinal matchup at noon on Thursday, April 20. For the most up-to-date information on Campbell tennis, follow @GoCamelsTennis on Twitter.
