BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell University will once again serve as co-host of the NCAA College Cup in Cary at WakeMed Soccer Park starting with the 2018 women's championship and running through the 2021 men's cup.
The NCAA Women's College Cup will be held at WakeMed in 2018 (Nov. 30-Dec. 2) and 2020 (Dec. 4-6), while the Men's College Cup will take place at the facility in 2019 (Dec. 13-15) and 2021 (Dec. 10-12).
The event will again be hosted by the Town of Cary, Campbell University, NCFC Youth (formerly Capital Area Soccer League) and the Greater Raleigh Sports Alliance.
The Women's College Cup has continued to prosper in the Town of Cary and 2018 will mark the eighth time the city has hosted the Women's College Cup (2003-2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2013 and 2015) and the 18th time the championship has been played in the state of North Carolina.
The most recent championship in 2015 welcomed many college cup milestones, including a 25,011 attendance record with a 13,329 championship game attendance, making it the second highest championship game attendance in college cup history.
Campbell co-hosted the NCAA Women's College Cup at WakeMed Soccer Park in 2013 and 2015 as well as the 2014 Men's College Cup.
